How the formula works
Tax Amount = Amount × (Rate / 100) | Total = Amount + Tax Amount
- Add Tax Mode: Tax is calculated on the Net Amount and added to get the Gross Total
- Remove Tax Mode: Tax is calculated from the Gross Amount (tax included) to find the Net Amount
- Net Amount = the price before tax (exclusive of tax)
- Tax Amount = Net Amount × (Rate / 100) or Gross Amount × (Rate / (100 + Rate))
- Gross Amount = Net Amount + Tax Amount (the final price including tax)
