How the formula works
M = P × ((1 + r)ⁿ − 1) / (1 − (1 + r)⁻¹) = P × ((1 + r)ⁿ − 1) / r × (1 + r)

- r = Monthly interest rate (annual rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100)
- n = Number of months (tenure in months)
- M = Maturity value — includes all deposits plus interest
